Cornelia found her true passion selling real estate. “I’ve always loved architecture,” she says, “and I’m a natural people-person. This job is a perfect fit.” She particularly enjoys finding a buyer who’s a good fit for a particular building. “A personality match is unbelievably important, especially in small buildings.”

When it comes to luxury properties, no one commands a deeper knowledge of the downtown market Cornelia understands more than anyone why the best brokers know exactly what’s available at any given time —even if they don’t have a particular client in mind. Maintaining a sense of the big picture, in her opinion, is the only way to make sound judgments and give each client the best possible options. Nothing is more satisfying to her than helping a client find exactly what he or she is looking for in a new home.

“I think I offer my clients not only experience, but patience and sensitivity. In the end, my clients are satisfied. That’s why so much of my business is referrals. People remember.” After being raised in Europe as the daughter of a physicist, Cornelia lived in Switzerland, Turkey, England, and Canada before settling in northern New Mexico for over twenty years. There, through several ventures as a successful entrepreneur, she gained a solid understanding of how hard work and dedication yield results.
