Originally from Baltimore, MD, Mary first became intrigued with buildings while pursuing her degree in Art History and Painting at the University of Delaware. She worked summers at an architectural firm then took graduate courses in Architecture at the University of Virginia. Subsequently earning her graduate degree in Elementary Education from Bank Street College, Mary came to New York to attend the New York Studio School, and became a private and public school teacher in NYC. She lived in Manhattan for six years before discovering the special wonders of Brooklyn.
Mary’s unique skill set that combines acute listening, patience and communication with a keen eye for value and design fuels her natural ability to match people with the best-suited properties. She is as passionate and focused in her personal life as well, having formerly competed in long-distance track and field and road races over the years.
