Ellen Kapit

Ellen Kapit is a native New Yorker and seasoned residential real estate professional with expertise in historic homes, luxury properties, new developments, pet-friendly housing, and corporate relocations. As a former director of her own co-op board in an iconic landmark building, she brings a nuanced understanding of building management and governance—insight that adds depth and credibility to her client representation.

In addition to representing buyers, sellers, renters, and landlords, Ellen serves as Operations Manager for The James Morgan Team at Compass, consistently recognized among the Wall Street Journal RealTrends Top 20 real estate teams in New York.
