Darleen Krimetz

In an industry where others come and go, Darleen Krimetz has built a long-standing career focused solely on real estate.  Born and raised in New York City, Darleen trained under and worked for many of the luxury developers selling and marketing some of the most prestigious addresses in New York City.  She was recruited by Donald Trump to establish his full-service, residential brokerage division specializing in Trump named properties.   As the Director of Sales and Marketing for the Zeckendorfs she developed and implemented  highly successful sales and marketing strategies that resulted in the sales of 3,500 luxury high-rise condominiums in a seven year period - much of which was accomplished during poor business and economic cycles.  The Related Companies sought her expertise to consult on the development of their Riverwalk Place project on Roosevelt Island.   She was asked to stay on as their Director of the project and was personally responsible for selling 50% of the units in Riverwalk Place.

 Among her favorite projects is the CITYLIGHTS development in Long Island City.  When CITYLIGHTS opened in 1997, Darleen was the Vice President of Residential Sales and Marketing and she accomplished a sell-out of the 520 unit project in less than two years.  She has seen the LIC waterfront grow from a warehouse district into one of the most sought-after neighborhoods in the city – a neighborhood where CITYLIGHTS remains the cornerstone.  Because she feels so strongly about what CITYLIGHTS has to offer, she has continued to handle re-sales at CITYLIGHTS in addition to focusing on the Long Island City market.  Over her 12-year history in Long Island City, Darleen continues to be the top producer at CITYLIGHTS, earning her the title of “The CITYLIGHTS Expert”.
