Born and raised in Park Slope, Brooklyn, Vanazza is a lifelong Brooklynite. At the tender age of nine, she was awarded a full college scholarship funded by the Miracle-Gro Corporation. Vanazza attended Hofstra University and studied social science and social psychology. As an aspiring social psychologist, she was involved in research studies at Hofstra and, in her capacity as research assistant, was featured at a national conference of the American Psychological Association. As a result of these experiences, Vanazza has a clear understanding of the intricacies associated with social interaction, meaning that she is able to relate to both sellers and buyers during the sales transaction process. Before joining Compass Vanazza worked in administration and office management for residential real estate, commercial insurance and mortgage brokerage firms. Her diverse but relevant experience has prepared her well for the sustained attention to detail and customer service savvy that she brings to her career. Vanazza Perez has an insatiable thirst for helping people, learning new things, and working hard to get the best results possible for clients and customers. Vanazza loves her work particularly because of the wonderful people she encounters each day: "I love learning about new cultures and reading about different parts of the world, and in New York City you get to meet people from everywhere, which is what makes it so unique."
