Steen Rasmussen

Danish-born Steen W. Rasmussen has been a New York City real estate broker since 1990, with more than three decades of experience in residential sales and rentals throughout Manhattan, Queens, and Brooklyn.

Early in his career, Steen specialized in co-op sales on the Upper East Side, where he lived for 15 years, and in Sutton Place/Midtown, where he lived for another decade. His experience with co-ops extends beyond brokerage: he continues to serve on the board of his former Sutton Place co-op and also serves on the board of his co-op in Jackson Heights, his primary residence since 2015.

As residential New York has expanded far beyond its traditional boundaries, so has Steen's territory. Over the years, he has worked from offices on the East Side, West Side, in Greenwich Village, Harlem, Hamilton Heights, and Downtown Brooklyn, giving him firsthand knowledge of neighborhoods throughout the city.

His exploration of Queens began out of personal interest and eventually led him to Jackson Heights. Today, his knowledge of the borough stretches from Long Island City and Astoria through Jackson Heights and beyond.

After more than 35 years in the business, Steen brings to his clients something that can't be acquired overnight: a working knowledge of New York real estate built neighborhood by neighborhood, transaction by transaction, and market by market.
