Rick Rosa

A twenty-year Long Island City native, originally from Miami and a top producing Douglas Elliman broker, the name Rick Rosa has become synonymous with the area. He has great admiration for the local businesses, the community, new developments and the culture that the city has to offer. His charisma, style, and personality paired with his real estate knowledge, sense of design and creativity sets Rick apart from others; But the real differentiator is his focus on the human connection: networking with colleagues, learning from mentors and listening to his clients, which inevitably brings a success story to everyone involved in a real estate transaction. As a motivated entrepreneur, Rick’s determination brought him to NYC, where he joined Douglas Elliman in 2004. A year later, he became the first Douglas Elliman broker in Long Island City and was attributed to the firm’s first sale in the area. Trusting his intuition that this part of Queens would one day become a vibrant and desirable city, he went on to be the operating force behind the firm’s LIC office opening in 2012. In 2015, he returned to the field and started focusing on his true passion: new construction. A creative at heart, he enjoys being part of the building process, working closely with developers and using his design vision to share the properties with clients prior to market launch. Rick has exceeded all others in the number of development clients he has acquired. Today, he is a Managing Partner of the leading team at Douglas Elliman Long Island City, the Rosa Pereira Team, which is also a consistent Pinnacle Award Winner.
