Court Hassinger

Court hails from rural, central Pennsylvania. Growing up, his father would occasionally buy the run-down house in the neighborhood so his mother did not have to look at the eye-sore when she drove by. Court would help his dad renovate and re-sell it. Some of the properties were kept as rentals and his mother made Court and his dad repair those as well. His mom actually participated in the process when it came to interior design, choosing finishes, and collecting antiques. At a young age Court was recognized as being artistic and creative, leading to a career as an art director. So, it’s no wonder that Court became great at transforming interior spaces. Today, he markets that transformation to capture the highest possible price-- this is great for sellers! On the other hand, Court is able to recognize a “not so wonderful” property and see its potential— this is great for buyers! Court has a Master’s degree in advertising from UCLA. He began his graduate study with a Fellowship at Pratt Institute after receiving his BFA degree in Pennsylvania. Court had a previous career in the advertising industry as an art/creative director in Los Angeles, London and New York. He specialized in creating a branding identity for consumer product launches via national print and broadcast campaigns. With a reputation as an unconventional thinker, his conceptual ideas resulted in ad agencies pitching and winning new business accounts. Court now uses this skill-set to market and sell real estate. When time permits, Court will pick up a paint brush— for either the walls in his apt or the canvas on his easel. He is equally comfortable in a hardware store or the Impressionist Gallery at the Met Museum. Court sometimes appears at his showings on his bicycle and is experienced dodging traffic on the streets of NYC. He strives to be authentic and is very personable and direct with everyone he encounters. The occasional joke and added sense of humor are part of his charm. Court serves as President of his UWS condominium board of directors. Court also serves on the Board of Trustees for the NY Center for Spiritual Living-- He spends a lot of time studying metaphysical concepts that no one else cares about. Court is a member of the Real Estate Board of NY (REBNY). He is also credentialed as a NY Residential Specialist-- NYRS brokers comprise less than 2% of all licensed professionals in NYC and are committed to ethical behavior, professional excellence, and advanced education.
