Jodi Cook

Jodi is a Brooklyn native who knows and loves her city. She studied Construction Management at the New York City College of Technology and has extensive experience working in the real estate industry as a Residential Property Manager, a Project Manager for a development firm, and as a successful Real Estate Broker.

She currently serves on the Board of Directors of her co-op and is the President of The Kensington Stewards, a nonprofit community organization that serves as the Plaza Partner for a NYC DOT pedestrian plaza and is focused on bringing neighbors together through cultural events that foster connection, inclusion, and community pride. The group regularly hosts personal finance and poetry workshops at local libraries, organizes neighborhood cleanups and tree care events, and supports local mutual aid and food access initiatives.

Jodi also serves on the board of The Artmageddon Collective, an inclusive artists’ community dedicated to celebrating Brooklyn creatives and making art accessible to everyone. The group creates public art projects, organizes artist meetups, and offers free opportunities for artists of all skill levels and genres to share their work. Their projects have included multiple gallery shows and artist salons, along with their signature annual Ditmas Park event, Artmageddon — a unique neighborhood collaboration where homeowners and business owners sponsor artists and musicians who perform and exhibit their work on porches, lawns, and throughout the neighborhood.

Jodi is currently pursuing a degree in Developmental Psychology at the School of Professional Studies, reflecting her lifelong dedication to learning and understanding people — a skill that translates naturally into helping clients navigate important life transitions with confidence and clarity.

In her free time, she enjoys traveling, hiking, gardening, cooking (and eating), and most importantly, spending time with her family.
