In 2010 She broke a deal by cold calling teh owners of townhouses in the upper and coming area now known as East Tribeca, with a New Development Project, "Tribeca" Acquisition: $10 Million and anticipated project sellout of $34 Million. Leila recognizes that buying or selling a home is not only a personal and emotional experience but, in many cases, the single most important financial decision one can make.

She helps ease this process by being herself. Leila was born and raised in Kenya and came to America at age 19 to attend the University of Massachusetts, where she studied hospitality and management. Before entering the real estate industry, Leila had a very successful career in the restaurant business, where she worked in management for well-known chefs Jeffrey Zakarian and Jean-Georges Vongerichten.

Also, she is an owner of a few restaurants chain. When not with clients, she is a proud mother, mentoring newcomers to the business, and loves running, hiking great peaks around the world, sailing, spinning, skydiving, cooking, traveling, and yoga. She is currently working with IT-Project, an organization whose mission is to provide digital education resources to public schools in Kenya.
