David Delaney

With over two decades of experience in New York City’s high-volume sales and rental markets, David Delaney brings extensive expertise and a steady hand to navigating the ever-evolving real estate landscape. Since 2002, he has honed a deep understanding of the industry’s fast-paced dynamics, client expectations, and market trends.

David joined the award-winning Cole Team in the spring of 2016, where he quickly became known for his professionalism, meticulous attention to detail, and unwavering commitment to client satisfaction. Once described by a client as having a “Marine Corps–style discipline,” David approaches every transaction with diligence and integrity—balanced by patience, compassion, and a touch of humor, qualities that help guide clients smoothly through one of life’s most important decisions.

In 2022, David relocated to Southern California, where he continues to contribute remotely to The Cole Team’s ongoing success, maintaining strong relationships with both colleagues and clients across coasts.

Originally from the New Hampshire Seacoast, David moved to New York City in 1997 after earning a degree in Music Theory and Composition with a focus in Vocal Performance on scholarship at The University of New Hampshire. Accepted into NYC’s prestigious BMI Lehman Engel Musical Theatre Writing Workshop, he went on to become an advanced member. A lifelong musician and composer, David continues to write and “tickle the ivories” whenever he finds the time.
