Michael lives in Riverdale where he serves as Corcoran’s resident expert in the area, achieving the firm's top closed sales volume annually since 2010. Michael also holds advanced designations as a Board Certified New York Residential Specialist, Certified Negotiation Expert, and Certified Buyer Representative. Michael brings many assets to his real estate career from a distinguished and varied background, namely, a strong business background grounded by a solid aesthetic sensibility. Most recently before joining Corcoran, Michael worked side by side with the director of The Haven Heights Group, on the marketing and sale of mixed use residential buildings and turn of the century brownstones. A long-time resident of the Upper West Side, Michael currently serves as President of the Board of Directors of his Condominium in Riverdale. Michael also serves on the Board of Directors of Rees Source Ventures, a private investment company with interests in real estatedevelopment, venture capital, energy, and marketable securities. Originally from the San Francisco Bay Area, Michael made his way east to study classical music and opera as a graduate student of the famed Juilliard School at Lincoln Center. He pursued his former career as an opera singer at the highest levels both in the United States and abroad. Michael has lived and studied in Europe at the Universita per Stranieri di Perugia in Italy as well as Salzburg College in Austria. He has called New York City home for over 16 years, developing an intense fondness for the city and all its diversity. Michael is also a proud member and supporter of The Thyroid Cancer Survivors’ Association.
