With 25 years experience as a seasoned New York City Luxury Real Estate Associate Broker, NIC BOTTERO is a Licensed Associate Real Estate Broker at Douglas Elliman Real estate. Prior to joining the company, Nic was a launching member of Christies International Rea Estate after a significant career at Brown Harris Stevens for over 8 successful years. Before BHS he was the sole Executive Vice President of one of New York's most successful boutique real estate firms in Manhattan’s Upper East Side.. Through diligence, talent and hard work, Nic has successfully represented significant Penthouse and Townhouse Sales, Cooperative and Condominium apartments and lofts, as well as new developments in New York City’s luxury real estate market.

Properly pricing and strategically marketing exclusives is paramount to satisfying Nic’s clients’ needs. Establishing customer confidence, artfully negotiating, and providing guidance throughout the entire purchase is the reason why so many of Nic’s clients are referral based. Nic’s relaxed veteran style is only one part of the reason why he is an expert at working with the most demanding and discerning clients. Nic has an agile and creative mind. He is noted for being a quick study particularly with improving floorplans, understanding spatial relationships, and he commands a true understanding of how to make a property show, and flow better. His fluid creative style also contributes to him being a gifted problem solver and allows him to work efficiently through complicated deals in order to carry them through to closing.

Upon joining Brown Harris Stevens, Nic teamed up with Erin Boisson Aries. When not working on real estate transactions, Nic enjoys travel, food and making wine. Born and raised in Manhattan on Central Park West, Nic studied in New York and graduated with honors from Skidmore University.
