Phyllis grew up in New York City, so has a particular understanding of people's needs in this very unique market. She studied European History at New York University, then entered a high-profile career in advertising at Ogilvy and Mather and other industry giants where she supervised marketing research for such major accounts as American Express, General Foods, Bristol Myers, and Proctor & Gamble.

In 1997, Phyllis brought her extensive research skills, project management savvy and sharp marketing mind to the world of real estate. Today, Phyllis draws upon not only the extensive resources at Corcoran, but on her seasoned talent for developing sophisticated marketing campaigns and creative strategies, as well as her sharp analytic and negotiating skills, to ensure sound, smooth deals for buyers and sellers of Manhattan real estate.

Phyllis's love of working with people, and deep appreciation of architecture and décor, has been fully realized in selling real estate, where her skillful management of home staging and presentation have contributed to her success.

She currently resides in Carnegie Hill, but has also lived in Greenwich Village and on the Upper East Side. She is very knowledgeable about the Upper West Side, where she has spent considerable time. Outside of work, Phyllis enjoys theatre and opera , and is involved with the parent associations of her children’s alma maters, Yale University and Brown University.
