Theresa is making use of the unique international network that Engel and Völkers offers and divides her time between Vienna, Austria and continues to run her team in New York City. A native of Vienna, Austria, Theresa came to New York in 1998 with one suitcase to attend a post graduate summer program at NYU. Her connection to Austrian and European Organizations in New York has lead to assisting numerous diplomats from around the world with their relocation needs. She has been featured in Luxury Living, the Real Estate Magazine of Die Presse in Austria as "Our Agent in New York". Her background in music and arts administration resulted in a tenure in the executive and artistic department at Carnegie Hall and as a manager of classical musicians. The experience of assisting conductors and opera singers with their New York accommodation search coupled with her enthusiasm for New York City, brought her to the world of Real Estate. Whatever her clients' requirements are, Theresa is dedicated as a buyer's, seller's and rental broker, and will patiently and efficiently look for the best options for her customers. A resident of the Upper West Side for twenty years, Theresa focuses on representing owners in selling and renting their residences. In one building alone, at 200 West End Avenue, she has completed over 50 transactions on behalf of homeowners. She is bilingual in German and English, loves to pick up-what used to be fluent Italian-and has a working knowledge of French.
