Amanda Schmieder

Amanda graduated with Masters from UC Irvine in Southern California and originally hails from Atlanta, GA. As managing director of Reliance Realty, Amanda oversees day to day operations for the leasing division. She specializes in rentals and sales and has represented million dollar listings in Manhattan. She and Reliance Realty have been featured in the NY times Real Estate section column, "The Hunt." Her residential rental expertise ranges from high-end luxury apartments to walk-ups with incredible value. Amanda has worked in the customer service industry since the age of thirteen and prides herself on a tremendous work ethic. Her refreshingly honest and down-to-earth approach help to distinguish her above a multitude of other New York brokers. In additon to a career in real estate, Amanda has been performing and teaching improv comedy at The Peoples Improv Theater for over six years. This experience has grealty enhanced her listening skills and ability to handle any situation. And after running the NewYork Marathon in 2010, she learned the value of never(seemingly ever...) giving up. As a 12 year resident of NYC, she loves the city and finding her clients a place within it to call their own. Amanda has been a proud member of The Real Estate Board for 5 years.
