Curtis’ natural transition to real estate sales and rentals was inspired by his love of home design and architecture. Clients appreciate his keen eye, sense of style and sharp attention to detail. Curtis’ business savvy combines with strong listening and communication skills that make people feel fully heard and well informed, as well as comfortable and confident in his abilities.

Residing in the heart of the Upper West Side, Curtis is still fascinated by New York City – even after living here for two decades. A native of Iowa, he holds a degree in Business Management and Fine Art. After completing his degree, he moved to Manhattan in 1991 to study Interior Design. Before beginning his real estate career, Curtis spent 15 years in the home furnishings industry where he ran the operations of a furniture showroom and worked with private design clients. His work involved not only selling imported European furnishings, but overseeing the renovation of apartments and homes throughout the New York Tri-State area.

Curtis also enjoys travel, exploring new restaurants, viewing cultural exhibits and attending concerts and musical festivals.
