A New Yorker for more than three decades, Chris has spent more than 26 years advising buyers, sellers, and investors in Manhattan residential real estate. His practice is defined by discretion, trusted relationships, and an exacting knowledge of the city, developed over decades of working across Manhattan—from uptown to downtown—as well as in the Hamptons.

His expertise spans New York’s distinguished prewar cooperative residences, condominium sales, contemporary new developments, and townhouses. He has extensive experience in the premier condominium market, including significant sales experience at Greenwich Lane in Greenwich Village, and has represented many of the city's notable townhouse transactions, including the recent $46 million sale of a double-wide West Village residence, one of New York City's largest private townhouse sales in 2026.

Chris brings an international perspective to a distinctly New York business. For properties that warrant broader reach, he draws on established relationships with Savills in London and Emile Garcin in Paris, together with a network of private clients and advisors across New York, the Hudson Valley, and Florida.

Longstanding relationships with leading journalists and publications also inform his approach. His properties and transactions have received substantive editorial coverage in The New York Times and other major media, and he has worked closely with international publications including the Financial Times and The Wall Street Journal/Mansion Global. He understands when discretion is paramount—and when considered international exposure or editorial strategy can meaningfully enhance a property’s position.

Raised in Miami, Chris moved to New York to join IMG as a talent manager before entering real estate in 2000 alongside the late Robby Browne, one of Manhattan’s most respected residential brokers. Their two-decade partnership helped shape the highly personal approach that continues to define his work.

With family roots in Copenhagen, Chris maintains close ties to Europe and a longstanding interest in art, architecture, and design. He is an Executive Trustee of the American-Scandinavian Foundation and previously served on the boards of the Sag Harbor Partnership and SAGE, which honored him with its Kevin Dawson Lifetime Achievement Award. He also hosts New York’s annual Toys Party fundraiser at Chelsea Piers, which recently marked its 40th year.

Chris divides his time between New York City and Sag Harbor.
