Bibi Calderaro

Bibi Calderaro knows what it's like to move. She was born in Michigan to Argentinean parents, moved to Mexico City where she lived for 4 years, followed her family to Buenos Aires, Argentina, where she spent most of her childhood. Bibi came to New York City to live and work as an artist more than 20 years ago. With her husband and daughter she moved from Soho to Brooklyn 15 years ago and understands the attraction to both boroughs and what it's like to transition from one to the other. While the process of finding a home can be complicated, Bibi has a lifetime of experience in making transitions as smooth and exciting as possible, and the expert skills to help you in buying, renting or selling property. Bibi has a passion for finding spaces that best suit the unique needs of a person or family. She became a real estate agent when she realized that she could match her compassion for and understanding of people with her love for architecture and design and her intuitive sense of vibe. "I enjoy listening to clients describe what's most important to them about a future home and neighborhood and try to anticipate their unarticulated needs." Prior to joining Corcoran Bibi worked as a visual artist showing in Argentina, New York, Houston, Pennsylvania, Canada, Europe, and Mexico. She has a Master's of Fine Arts from CUNY, an MA in Sustainability and Education and a Bachelor's Degree from Wesleyan. She has worked as a teacher, interpreter, and photographer. She and her family reside in the Bedford Stuyvesant section of Brooklyn. Besides real estate, her other passions include hiking, camping, yoga, cooking for friends, art and music.
