Arabella Greene Buckworth

Arabella Greene Buckworth has enjoyed nearly thirty years’ experience as a respected and highly successful broker in luxury sales in Manhattan. In 1986 she created and managed a residential division representing multinational corporations and investment properties. For the past quarter century she has sold and represented high end real estate throughout Manhattan, and has enjoyed a special affinity for the historic artists’ enclave of West 67th Street, off Central Park West, where she is a recognized presence and has consistently set record sales.

A native New Yorker, she is intimately familiar with the nuances of the city and every neighborhood. Clients appreciate her negotiating talents, thorough knowledge of the real estate market and equanimity under any situation. She has had the distinction of being a part of The Real Estate Board’s “Deal of the Year” for the sale of a Penthouse on Central Park West. At the time, The Financial Observer cited this sale as “the most expensive single-occupancy apartment purchase in the history of the Upper West Side.” In 2009, on the East Side, she negotiated the purchase of the largest townhouse sale in New York City representing the purchaser, a noted celebrity. Often negotiating on behalf of celebrities and high-profile individuals, Arabella is respected for her sensitivity and discretion.

Arabella is widely travelled and is fluent in three languages. She was educated at the United Nations International School and Mills College, earning her degree in Literature. She continues to be an avid reader and is enthusiastic about all the arts, in particular painting and classical music. Her other abiding passions are ski holidays with her family and chess. Married to an Australian philanthropist, she is also immensely proud of her four exceptional step-sons.
