Troy Gaskin

Troy Gaskin came to the Corcoran family as an Associate Broker with over 18 years of experience in the real estate business. In that time he has done several hundred rentals representing the owner, management company or tenant. Troy has additionally effected the sale of over 50 townhouses, single-family homes, multifamily properties, as well as co-ops and condos throughout New York City, Westchester County and Long Island. He has particular expertise handling estate sales, which are often challenging and complex. Troy treats his clients’ business with utmost care, as if theirs is the only deal and the most important one he is working on at the time. He is extremely attentive and believes in genuine honesty, upholding a reputation as a man of his word who does what he says he will. While a true people person, Troy just as much has a firm grasp on facts and details. He is very thorough and punctual, respecting that a person’s time is their most valuable asset and is not to be wasted. A native New Yorker born in the Bronx and raised in Brooklyn, Troy graduated from Stuyvesant HS in Manhattan. He went to Xavier University of Louisiana in New Orleans and graduated with an Accounting and Business Administration major. He worked in banking on Wall Street for several years, then ran his family's skin and hair care business selling their patented Melanin Plus products. Troy was subsequently a math teacher and dean for troubled students prior to his career as a real estate broker. His style is to educate his clients, ensuring the highest level of support and guidance while securing their perfect home. Happily married to his wife of 27 years, and the proud father of a wonderful daughter and son, family is the center of Troy’s world. They are fortunate to live in a co-op in Williamsburg, enjoy a summer home on Martha’s Vineyard, and spend time at their winter villa in St. Croix, US Virgin Islands. Troy is passionate about the growth and potential of our next generation. In his free time, he serves as a mentor to youth through sports, mainly basketball, as well as on their academic pursuit of excellence.
