Buying or selling property in NYC is a more complex process than most anywhere in the country – that’s why when customers turn to Scott Klein for help, he responds with utmost attention, information and service that helps ease the experience. “I love what I do, and enjoy being an advocate for my customers and clients,” says Scott, who works tirelessly for everyone he represents.

A native New Yorker, Scott has enjoyed life in three of the five boroughs. He was born and raised in Queens, lived in Manhattan for several years, then moved to Brooklyn in 1983 where he remains. A coop owner there, Scott cherishes the energy and diversity that New York has to offer. His passion and enthusiasm shine through in his work, and inspire his vast knowledge of neighborhoods, buildings and market variations. “I believe in the product I sell – New York City, and Brooklyn in particular. My goal is to help others be as happy in their home as I am.”

Scott holds a Bachelor’s degree from Hamilton College in Clinton, NY, and a Master’s degree in Urban Affairs and Policy Analysis from the Milano School at the New School for Social Research. Prior to entering real estate in 2001, he gained experience working in city government and in the non-profit sector which broadened his view of New York City, educated him on how changes affect the real estate market, and fueled his knowledge of neighborhoods on the rise. Scott has also worked as a freelance writer and was a proprietor of a successful pet-sitting business.

As a result of his well-rounded experience, Scott is adept at listening and the art of customer service. He advises each and every customer seeking a home, making sure they know all the steps and costs involved, and carefully shepherds them through the process so they make a sound decision. Scott is equally devoted to sellers who rely on him to expertly market their properties, attain the very best price possible and find the most appropriate buyers. He is known for selling properties very quickly.

Besides giving his time to his sellers and buyers, Scott also gives back to his community. He has been a member of the Park Slope Food Coop for over 20 years, and is a member of Brooklyn Community Board 10. Scott is also the former President of Lambda Independent Democrats of Brooklyn. He is proud to call Brooklyn “home.”
