Sandu Calinescu

Sandu Calinescu's goal is to be his clients' broker for life. He believes that accomplishing this and being truly successful requires providing every buyer and seller with a full-service experience, and most importantly, with honesty, integrity, knowledge and an upfront approach they can trust.

In his Decade and a half of selling real estate, Sandu has enjoyed strong relationships with a diverse clientele that has included many corporate relocation clients, as well as landlords and management companies who respect his expertise. He has also won many top producer awards, and earned a proven record of results in both sales and rental working with clients in every price range, from a basic studio to multi-million-dollar townhouse. Sandu also offers clients a wealth of resources and referrals including movers, architects, contractors and others that help streamline the relocation process.

Originally from Bucharest, Romania, Sandu grew up in Scottsdale, Arizona and graduated from Hunter College of the City of New York with a double major in Political Science and Media and Film Studies. He also earned an International Political Studies certificate from New York University. Sandu has enjoyed living in various parts of New York City over the years. He currently resides on the Upper West Side where he enjoys taking his rescued Golden Retriver Houdini for walks in Riverside Park.

Prior to excelling in New York real estate, Sandu was an NBC page and in media sales and commercial traffic for the network. He also worked for NBC Sports during the 2000 Sydney Olympics and 2002 Salt Lake City Olympic. Sandu loves to travel in free time as well as to ski and play tennis.
