Barran A. Aydin

Barran A. Aydin earned his M.A. from New York University in 2014 as part of a program leading to a Ph.D. Before his time at NYU, he completed his MBA at Cambridge College in Cambridge, MA, and received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Ankara University, Turkey.

Barran began his career in finance and banking before pursuing his passion for real estate in New York City in 2007. He believes that success in real estate is all about listening closely to what clients truly want. He views his role as that of a matchmaker—connecting clients with the right properties and bringing the ideal tenants to property owners.

With a deep knowledge of the market and New York City’s diverse neighborhoods, Barran advises clients through every stage of the search and contract process, empowering them to make informed decisions. His international education and global travels—from Scotland, England, and Denmark to Switzerland—have given him a unique sensitivity to the needs of people from all backgrounds.

Barran translates his international experience into a nuanced understanding of what “home” means to different individuals. His personal relocation journey resonates with clients who value his ability to match people with the places that best suit their lifestyle and goals.

Specializing in Manhattan’s residential market, Barran has rented a wide array of apartments, including lofts and townhouses, to a broad spectrum of clients, including high-end clientele. In addition to rentals, he has also handled numerous residential sales and has worked on select commercial real estate transactions, bringing a well-rounded perspective to his clients' investment and property needs.

In his spare time, Barran enjoys learning new languages, watching films, reading, studying history and mythology, exploring the arts, and staying up to date on international affairs and economics.
