Dain Lee

After graduating with a B.A. from NYU, Dain worked in restaurant/nightlife PR before starting his career in real estate when joining The Corcoran Group in 2006. He was recruited by the CEO and head of the Sunshine Marketing division as liaison between investors from Asia markets (specifically Korea), and selling new development projects such as Extell's 100 Riverside (The Avery), 2628 Broadway & 245 W. 99th (Ariel E/W), 350 W. 42nd (The Orion), 32 W. 18th & 15 W. 20th (Altair 18/20), and the Carlyle Group's 485 Park Ave. Over the next decade, Dain naturally transitioned into building his own successful business out of the top producing Chelsea/Flatiron office, ranking in the top 2% of 47,000 NRT agents nationwide and a member of the multi-million dollar club. In 2017 Dain was asked to join the Peter's/O'Brien Team at Douglas Elliman; ranking top 1% Nationwide (WSJ Real Trends), the #1 Team in Brooklyn ('15/'17), #1 in Williamsburg ('12-'18), & #2 in total number of transactions for Brooklyn compared with all other teams in NYC (The Real Deal'18). Responsible for overseeing sales for a number of new developments, together the team closed $225M in sales that year alone. Exposure to real estate at an early age via the family business allows Dain to provide a wide wealth of knowledge as part of his full service approach. A seasoned expert in new development, condo/coop, townhouse, investment property, 1031x, HDFC, & portfolio management, he believes providing honest, detail oriented, and personalized attention - no matter what the client’s needs and budget - is the key to creating long term successful relationships. Through the years Dain has worked with a wide range of clientele, including the MSG Co. relocating athletes for the NY Knicks, Rangers & Liberty, JYP Entertainment, K-pop idol RAIN, C-suite executives from LG, Samsung, Google, AMC, Red Bull, Ford Models, Saatchi&Saatchi, Rokkan, Rockstar Games, Oscar de la Renta, Gucci, as well as Grammy/Emmy/Golden Globe award winning artists. Along with partner Mathew Krem, they bring to the table 20 years of experience and $325,000,000+ in closed sales to date. Dain also enjoys the culinary arts (previously seen as a cast member of Food Network’s “All-Star Academy Season 2” with mentor Chef Curtis Stone), poker tournaments, DJ'ing the occasional gig, is an avid traveler that loves to eat the world, and revels in uncovering hidden gems throughout the city - often with SATO rescue dogs Izzy & Burrito in tow!
