Laurie Bloomfield

A veteran real estate professional since 1987, Laurie Bloomfield has achieved consistent success in her field as a Corcoran Multi-Million-Dollar Club member and a Top 1000 broker in the nationwide NRT network. She has also continually won clients over with her attentive, results-driven service.

Laurie, an extremely knowledgeable Upper West Side specialist who has lived in the neighborhood since 1971, happily raised her daughter in what she thinks is a fabulous place to bring up children. During her real estate tenure, she has sold apartments in almost every major building on West End Avenue and Riverside Drive. She also has first-hand knowledge of brownstone and townhouse ownership having lived for 13 years on a brownstone that she and her husband purchased with another family in 1978. That was such a great experience that a few years later they purchased and converted two Upper West Side brownstones into cooperative apartments. While the Upper West Side is near and dear to her heart, Laurie is appreciates the uniqueness of each “small town” in Manhattan, as she refers to the varied neighborhoods.

Laurie takes every client relationship seriously, striving to make the real estate process enlightening and stress-free. That's why 95% of her business comes to her by referral. “if I weren’t a real estate broker, I’d probably be a tour guide,” she says, since her favorite part of the profession is educating her buyers and introducing them to all the neighborhood gems. From the search to the sale, she is committed to guiding clients in every aspect of their transaction, drawing on her keen understanding of out-of-the-box situations to find creative solutions and unique opportunities.

After graduating from Emerson College with a degree in Communications, Laurie honed her negotiating and marketing skills in the book publishing industry and later developing private label programs for major supermarket chains.
