Morgan is well-versed in all aspects of the New York City residential real estate market. From helping a new arrival to the city buy their dream apartment, to assisting landlords large and small with finding qualified tenants, The Turkewitz Team is dedicated to exceeding even the highest expectations. The Turkewitz Team consists of Morgan Turkewitz and Claire Marshall.
Born and raised in New York, Morgan’s success comes from her extensive knowledge of the Manhattan real estate market and her ability to cater to each individual’s specific housing needs. Her ability to build a rapport with her customers is a result of her tireless work ethic coupled with her warm and engaging personality. Morgan’s direct, candid approach allows her to determine her client’s exact parameters and prioritize what is most important to them. At her previous firm, Morgan was named Rookie of the Year and has been honored every year with awards ranging from the Outstanding Customer Service Award, to Team of the Year Companywide, to Park Avenue South Team of the Year Sales. Morgan’s experience in real estate makes her a sought-after resource for the media. She has appeared in publications such as The New York Times, The Daily News, The New York Observer, AM New York, Newsday and PBS TV. In addition, Morgan has also been named one of the Top Ten Brokers in NYC by Time Out NY magazine.
Morgan earned a degree in Human Services & Business Essentials Summa Cum Laude from the University of Delaware. As an undergraduate, Morgan fully circumnavigated the world and visited 13 countries while studying with Semester at Sea. During her extensive travels, she was constantly exposed to new people and new cultures. She says, “In real estate, I encounter the same thing. This job is about meeting, interacting with, and relating to all different types of people. No two people are alike. I am able to adapt to different needs and personalities.”
Through her work with owners, landlords and management companies, Morgan has developed an extensive database of contacts throughout Manhattan. She is able to leverage these relationships to find the perfect match between the renter or buyer and the property. When working with homebuyers and investors, she is skilled at finding properties that will prove to be a sound investment. “Making smart choices about real estate will help owners in the long run. I always take the time to educate my clients about all of their options and explain how they can maximize their return on investment while also finding them a home they love.”
Morgan actively supports the community and is a co-founder of the non-profit organization, KidCare. Her charity’s mission is to work with underprivileged and homeless children in the community to alleviate the stresses that impoverished children often face and give them every opportunity to thrive. Simply put their goal is to ‘Let Kids be Kids’. Each year KidCare sponsors a little league team, organizes a ‘Job Hop’ which helps connect children in the community with career opportunities and also hosts a holiday toy drive.
From sky diving to white water rafting and boating with her family, Morgan loves to take advantage of the outdoors. She also continues to travel; Morgan has been on a safari in Africa, climbed the Great Wall of China, and most recently explored the markets, beaches and rain forests of Puerto Rico.
