Elizabeth Lind Johnson

Born and raised in New York City, Elizabeth applies her vast knowledge of the neighborhoods, attractions and services throughout Manhattan and Brooklyn to every real estate transaction. Elizabeth joined Compass after six years at her previous firm, Brown Harris Stevens. She is partners with her mother Karen G. Lind, an Associate Broker and attorney with over 35 years of real estate experience. Together Elizabeth and Karen bring expertise and supreme familiarity with the city to representing clients in both the Manhattan and Brooklyn markets. Prior to her career in real estate, Elizabeth spent a decade working in the art world at several Manhattan fine art galleries, as well as in fundraising and event planning for non-profit arts organizations. She holds degrees from Connecticut College and Sotheby's Institute of Art in London, and also studied art and architecture at Cornell University in Rome, Italy. Elizabeth is a member of the Real Estate Board of New York (REBNY) and The International Real Estate Federation (FIABCI-USA). Elizabeth currently lives in DUMBO, Brooklyn with her husband and son. She is actively involved in her community, serving on the steering committee for the DUMBO Action Committee (DAC), and as a member of the Brooklyn Bridge Park Conservancy family committee. In her free time she enjoys spending time at her family home on Shelter Island, skiing, sailing and traveling.
