Gerald Crown has been with Brown Harris Stevens since 1996, and a real estate professional and member of The Real Estate Board of New York since 1989.

Driven by a strong dedication to satisfying the requirements of his clients, Mr. Crown has earned accolades for his ability to match sellers with buyers. Comfortable working in all areas of Manhattan, Mr. Crown specializes in the Upper East Side, Sutton Place, United Nations Plaza and Murray Hill. He is an expert at assisting buyers in the purchasing process and sellers in the pricing and presentation of their homes. Mr. Crown often teams up and partners with Senior Vice President, Burt Savitsky for appropriate situations where their combined experience offers added value to customers and clients. He also partners with broker Judith Malcom where their combined professional experience will be beneficial.

Active in community affairs, Mr. Crown served a five-year term as a Director of The Sutton Area Community, Inc., a non-profit neighborhood organization dedicated to preserving, protecting and improving the quality of life in the area.

According to Mr. Crown, good brokerage representation requires up-to-date knowledge about a specific apartment or home. Sales in which Mr. Crown has participated include apartments on Fifth and Park Avenues, the East 80s, Sutton Place South (where he participated in 39 sales in one building), United Nations Plaza (where he has participated in an extraordinary 66 sales), and, on Gracie Square, two duplex apartments consisting of 15 and 18 rooms as well as a penthouse duplex on East 51st Street at Beekman Place and two apartments to be combined totaling 10 rooms on Riverside Drive.

Gerald Crown and Burt Savitsky were recently awarded the 2012 Brown Harris Stevens Broker Specialist of the Year Award at the firm’s Annual Meeting at Christie’s auction house in Rockefeller Center. They previously won this award for their accomplishments in 2010.

Gerald is also a member of the following real estate organizations: The National Association of Realtors, The Cape Cod and Islands Association of Realtors and The Nantucket Association of Real Estate Brokers. A native New Yorker, Mr. Crown also enjoys spending time at his home on Nantucket.
