Douglas graduated from the University of Michigan where he studied business and psychology. Prior to joining the real estate industry, Douglas was a leading corporate fundraiser for the Muscular Dystrophy Association and maintained a successful career as an actor and voiceover artist. He subsequently founded his own thriving film production company where he oversaw everything from negotiating contracts to scouting film locations throughout New York City.
