Michael Kaye

Michael Kaye believes that his mission at Elliman is twofold. When working with buyers, he aims to find his clients not only a new place to live but also a sound financial investment. When he is representing sellers, his mission is to help identify and execute their financial goals. "My goal is to educate and advise my clients, and then facilitate the rest of the process so they feel comfortable and confident in their decisions and happy with the outcome." Coming from a career in service and sales, most recently in the restaurant industry, it has always been Michael's goal to satisfy his customers' needs above all else.

Born and raised on the Upper East Side, where he still resides, Michael grew up in a co-op where his father has served as President of the Board for 33 years and counting, so he was exposed to the ins and outs of real estate from a very young age.

Michael's extensive catalogue of contacts includes sellers, buyers, and more recently a growing base of domestic and foreign investors, many of whom have a proclivity towards new developments and condo conversions. In April of 2016, Michael joined The Behringer Raida Team at Douglas Elliman Real Estate. With their diverse resources and expertise gained over a successful career in luxury residential real estate spanning over a decade, Michael felt he would be able to better serve his clients with this new partnership.

Michael attended Riverdale Country School in the Bronx, George Washington University in Washington, DC, and graduated from Hunter College in Manhattan. As a native New Yorker, he is extremely familiar with the intricacies of city life and what all of the different neighborhoods have to offer.

When not busy helping clients, Michael enjoys diverse leisure time interests that include music (he worked in music promotion for a major music label), sports, community work, and travel. He also enjoys membership in various clubs and organizations throughout NYC.
