Alexis Bodenheimer

For more than twenty-two years, Alexis Bodenheimer has partnered with Cathy Franklin to create one of Manhattan’s most accomplished real estate teams. Together, they have earned consistent recognition from The Wall Street Journal and RealTrends, ranking among the top one-half of one percent of agents nationwide and maintaining a steady presence among Manhattan’s top ten brokers.

Alexis brings to the partnership a distinctive perspective shaped by her own background and network. A graduate of Trinity College with a degree in Economics, she has cultivated enduring relationships through her active involvement in the alumni community, which continues to be a valuable source of introductions and clients. Her lifelong passion for architecture stems from her childhood home, a historic landmark townhouse near Rittenhouse Square in Philadelphia, where she also attended the William Penn Charter School. These early influences gave her a deep appreciation for the character and history of great homes—an appreciation that informs her work in Manhattan’s luxury market today. 

Alexis has also built an extensive referral network on the West Coast through her family ties in Los Angeles. With her identical twin sister based in Pacific Palisades and her brother in Brentwood Glen, she has developed strong connections that extend through family, friends, and their networks, generating a steady flow of referrals from clients in Pacific Palisades, Beverly Hills, and beyond. Combined with her Philadelphia roots and New York presence, Alexis’s ability to bridge markets across coasts has been an independent driver of the team’s growth and success.

In recent years, Cathy and Alexis’s combined sales have consistently set new benchmarks. In 2025 to date, their closed and in-contract transactions exceed $300 million. As part of The Cathy Franklin Team, they earned recognition as Corcoran’s Top Salesperson for Manhattan in 2024, and earned Corcoran’s Top Performance Nationwide in both 2023 and 2022, with sales exceeding $465 million and $600 million, respectively. Earlier recognition includes Corcoran’s East Side Sales Team of the Year in 2021 and 2020, Overall Top Performance Sales Team of the Year in 2019, and Manhattan Salespersons of the Year in both 2016 and 2015.

Known for her professionalism, energy, and meticulous attention to detail, Alexis plays a central role in every transaction. Her strengths in client relations, strategic marketing, and deal execution complement Cathy’s own, and together they are celebrated for delivering record-breaking results in Manhattan’s most prestigious buildings. They have also spearheaded sales for several high-profile new developments, including 1122 Madison Avenue, 109 East 79th Street, 116 University Place, and The Hit Factory at 421 West 54th Street.

Throughout their careers, Alexis and Cathy have been recognized with numerous industry awards and frequently profiled in leading publications such as The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Forbes, Avenue, Gotham, and Hamptons magazines. Their clientele includes prominent leaders in finance, politics, entertainment, and media—many of whom return to them repeatedly and refer them within their networks.

Alexis resides on Manhattan’s Upper East Side and in Loveladies, Long Beach Island, New Jersey. Outside of her professional life, she enjoys daily runs and tennis in Central Park, time with friends, and exploring New York’s finest restaurants. She is also an active member of the Real Estate Board of New York.
