Michael Morgenfruh

Michael Morgenfruh brings over 21 years’ experience in residential and commercial real estate to Sotheby’s International Realty. Previously, Michael served as a city government liaison within the site development team of a top-tier Manhattan-based architecture firm. Through servicing high-profile accounts, Michael gained extensive knowledge of the inner workings of the Department of Buildings, Department of City Planning, Landmarks Preservation Commission and other regulatory city agencies. Such a detail-oriented skill-set makes Michael an important partner in any residential transaction.

Michael has extensive experience in sales, investments, and property management throughout New York, New Jersey, and California - specializing in condos, cooperatives, and townhomes. He is a member of the Real Estate Board of New York and a supporter of CIVITAS, a union of citizens dedicated to improving neighborhood quality of life in the Upper East Side and East Harlem.

A lifetime resident of the NYC area, Michael and his family split their time between Manhattan and the Catskill Mountains in Upstate New York.
