This year marks Doug Russell's 25th anniversary as a full-time Manhattan real estate broker. A consummate professional and highly efficient residential property specialist, Doug has adopted a very simple philosophy throughout his years in the industry: give discreet and professional service to all with whom he works.

SOLD over 200 condominium apartments in Trump International Hotel & Tower (1 Central Park West), 51 in the Galleria (110 East 57th), 53 in the Belaire (524 East 72nd) and 24 in Park Avenue Place (60 East 55th) which was built in 2004.

SOLD over 60 co-operative units in 860 / 870 United Nations Plaza and over 30 apartments at 880 Fifth Avenue.

FOUNDING MEMBER of the Board of Directors for Trump International Hotel and Tower (1 Central Park West) along with Mr. Donald Trump in 1997. Doug was also a consultant for Trump International Hotel and Tower in Chicago.

After a previous career as a stockbroker at Merrill Lynch and then serving as a Vice President at both the Corcoran Group and Gumley-Haft, Doug joined Brown Harris Stevens where he is currently a Senior Vice President, Managing Director. In 2006, Doug's son Matthew joined the firm and together they bring a fresh marketing approach and vast industry expertise to their creative real estate transactions. Inspired deals, such as the sale of 20 units sold in a bulk purchase for $38,000,000 to a high-end travel club whose client's NYC travel needs run from a few days to a week at a time are what set Doug and his team apart.

A business graduate from the University of Georgia, Doug is tenacious in everything that he does. He is an avid platform tennis player and holds over 20 national and international titles and was inducted into the Platform Tennis Hall of Fame in 2007. He is equally committed to his own home and investments, whether it be through his service to his co-op as both a past Board President and Treasurer or through the extensive renovation of three apartments, which he merged into one beautiful home.
