As a former Division I ski racer and backcountry skier, Byron is a competitive person by nature. Known for his unwavering work ethic and calm demeanor, Byron is driven to provide his clients with the highest degree of service, discretion and loyalty.
Together with Dan Kessler, the Anderson Kessler team joined Compass in November 2014, with an average transaction of over $3M. Throughout their 18 years of combined experience, they have represented buyers and sellers in over $1 billion in sales. They specialize in luxury coop, condo and townhouse resales in Manhattan and Brooklyn.
Byron has built a reputation of providing exceptional service whether representing a first time homebuyer or a $20M exclusive listing. He prides himself on being a trusted advisor and has become friends with many of his clients.
Education is paramount to Byron and you can often find him analyzing market conditions, or studying the architecture and history of neighborhoods throughout the city. Byron’s education in real estate started young, as he would often spend summers in high-school and college working for his mother, the top producing broker in Dutchess County for over 30 years. As a result, industry colleagues often seek his advice on staging, pricing and negotiating the best outcomes for their clients.
When not in the office you can find Byron pursuing his life long passions - skiing in Colorado and Wyoming, surfing in Quogue, NY and La Jolla, CA or cycling near his family horse farm in Millbrook, NY.
