Katja’s passion for real estate translates into her being a very tenacious and engaged sales agent. Her tremendous personal commitment, paired with extensive first-hand experience in real estate and moving internationally with her family, makes her knowledgeable and astute when it comes to satisfying her domestic and international clients' needs. Fluent in English, German, French and Italian, Katja relates well to the needs of people from various cultural backgrounds. Having lived in Germany, France, Italy and the Midwest, before moving to New York City almost a decade ago, she understands the challenges of relocating and finding the right home and neighborhood. Katja's unique background fuels her quick understanding of client preferences and ability to develop customized solutions. "A home is not just a place to live in," she says. "It is also a reflection of yourself, a statement. That's why I love real estate, matching each individual with the perfect property for the best price." A German and American citizen, Katja previously worked as General Counsel and Director of Legal Affairs at a global multi-billion dollar company. She is a licensed attorney admitted in Germany and Michigan, holds a PhD in Law from Germany, Maîtrise en droit international from France, and an LLM in Corporation and Finance from Michigan. Her seasoned and global business experience, and her legal and negotiating expertise serve as invaluable foundation for her success in New York City real estate. Katja loves the different characters of the Manhattan neighborhoods. “I would not do Real Estate anywhere else in the world. Every home and every person whom I work with in the City is different. That makes my work never boring, keeps it always challenging, and requires me to listen carefully to the individual needs and wishes of my clients.” As a mother of two adult sons and wife to her husband of more than 20 years who works in international top management, she resides in Greenwich Village and Greenwich, CT. In her free time, she enjoys Manhattan’s theatre scene and sports of all kinds, from Skiing and Tennis to Pilates and Soul Cycle. She is a proud finisher of the NYC Marathon.
