David Reis

With 29 years of cardiology practice, concurrent with 18 years of national experience in Fortune 500 Health Benefits Design and Utilization Review, Dr. David Reis launched his Real Estate practice to deliver solutions for clinicians, medical groups, medical institutions and communities. David’s business aligns real estate trends with healthcare market realities. Provider quality of living, work:life balance and building strategies to reward health providers for delivering their social capital to communities are David’s passion. David studies health provider career choice and talent migration, revenue recycling and the economic development potential of healthcare institutions, programs by institutions and governances competing for talent through incentives for clinicians to live in communities populated by high medical needs citizenry, and preventive care and primary care in the community setting Medical tourism, telemedicine, consumerism, care provider supply change dynamics, health market consolidation, transit oriented development and repositioning of under-functioning and stranded assets are topics on which David advises colleagues nationally. David expertise in client management in multi-stakeholder projects brings value to his transactional services and consultative capabilities in both residential and commercial markets. In the clinical arena, David has served thousands of patients undergoing heart surgery, device therapy, transplantation and rehabilitation and directed Yale University’s designated outpatient cardiac rehab center achieving service excellence by national society certification status. His work includes collaboration with architects and designers in master health property repurpose and re-task initiatives, including co-authorship of a request for proposal (RFP) for a $100M project to repurpose the NYC Health and Hospitals Corporation’s footprint and enterprise. Dr. Reis is a past member of the Board of Directors of GallopNYC, a non-profit providing equine therapy for special needs children.
