Elina Brewer

Elina Brewer is a Licensed Associate Real Estate Broker and co-founder of The Brewer Team at Compass, with more than 15 years of experience in New York City real estate.

Her experience spans residential sales, leasing, new development, and large-scale rental portfolios across Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Queens. StreetEasy has verified more than 1,500 closed rental and sales transactions under Elina’s individual profile, while The Brewer Team has completed more than 2,500 transactions and $400M+ in sales.

Elina is particularly experienced in the NYC rental and investment market. Today, The Brewer Team oversees leasing and marketing for more than 1,000 rental units throughout New York City, working closely with individual owners, developers, and institutional landlords on everything from pricing and positioning to lease-ups and ongoing portfolio strategy.

That volume gives Elina a highly practical understanding of the market. She is constantly evaluating pricing, inventory, concessions, absorption, buyer and renter behavior, and neighborhood-level trends - experience she brings to every seller, buyer, investor, and landlord she represents.

Her background in finance, combined with years of transactional experience, has shaped a direct, analytical approach to real estate. Whether advising a seller on pricing, helping an investor evaluate an acquisition, managing a new-development lease-up, or representing a buyer, Elina focuses on the numbers, the market, and the strategy required to achieve the strongest possible result.

Originally from Russia, Elina moved to New York City in 2007 and earned her degree in Finance from Baruch College. She began her career in finance before transitioning to real estate, where she quickly became a top-producing agent.

Elina leads The Brewer Team alongside Sean Brewer. Together, they work with buyers, sellers, investors, developers, and landlords throughout New York City.
