Deborah Bhatt

Deborah Bhatt is a native New Yorker who has worked in residential real estate since 2001. She is the founder of Vesta New York, a residential real estate brokerage and advisory firm. She has a unique background brings her clients a deeply informed perspective regarding all aspects of a real estate search and transaction, and her information and experience helps her clients avoid and solve problems. She considers her role to be as an adviser to her clients. As an agent at Corcoran, her passion and expertise led to such honors as inclusion in Corcoran's list of Top 25 Sales Individuals, Top 1% of 47,000 NRT (owner of Corcoran, Sotheby's, CitiHabitats and Coldwell Banker) agents nationwide and $15-20 Million Per Year Club. Since graduating from Brown University, she has focused her entire career on New York City real estate. She began in 2001 at the New York City Department of Housing Preservation & Development and as a consultant with HR&A, a leading real estate consulting firm, before completing her Master’s in Real Estate Development at Columbia University. Before joining Corcoran, Deborah worked as a Project Manager with two major developers of residential and commercial real estate in Manhattan and Brooklyn, Forest City Ratner Companies and The Hudson Companies. Deborah uses her Project Management experience to keep transactions moving smoothly. She is an experienced negotiator and a true problem-solver by nature, training and experience. Even more important than her extensive background in real estate is Deborah’s ability to carefully listen to each client's real estate goals, and her clients appreciate that she always shares her honest option. This is one of the reasons her clients trust her so much, and in fact two buyers purchased apartments based on her recommendation before seeing them in person! By managing the complexities of real estate transactions and marshaling the resources and team she has built during her career, Deborah tirelessly pursues and achieves her clients’ goals. The firm name is inspired by Vesta, the Roman goddess of architecture, hearth and home. Deborah is an active member of the Patient and Family Advisory Council for Quality at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.
