A real estate professional since 1987, Marie is committed to providing her sellers and buyers with the highest quality service possible. Although you will never hear her commenting to the press about this, Marie, over the years, has represented some of the biggest and most recognized names in the fields of sports, business, law and fashion. They come to her because they can count on her expertise but also her discretion and protection of their privacy.

Marie started her real estate career in 1987 at the then venerable agency of Sulzberger-Rolfe, and joined Corcoran in 1995 just before the company's meteoric growth.

Over the years she has received all of Corcoran's top honors including "Broker of the Year" and “Spirit of Corcoran” (Carnegie Hill Office). She has been selected "Broker of the Month" in her office and has placed among Corcoran’s "Top Ten" and “Top Twenty Five” multiple times. She is a long standing member of “Corcoran's Multimillion Dollar Club" and has ranked in the top 2% of NRT's (Corcoran's parent company) 42,000 sales people in 2005, '06, '07 , '08 , ’09 ,’10 , ’11, ‘12 and ‘13. In addition she is recognized as one of the top 1% of real estate agents in Manhattan by Top Agent Guide.

Influenced by her formal education in Commerce and Economics (at the University of Toronto, Canada) and by her early career in marketing and advertising, Marie takes a strategic approach to the properties she represents. "When I take an exclusive listing I always provide my seller with a written marketing plan showing exactly what I intend to do to effectively market their apartments ... and throughout the selling process I provide them with regular updates and feedback." This approach ensures that Marie is working in true "partnership" with the seller, which she considers an essential element in producing expeditious sales results.

When working with buyers, Marie listens very carefully not only to the needs which are clearly expressed but also to needs which are not. "Often I work with people who have been referred to me after seeing countless apartments," says Marie. "That's when I know that I must find the need which has not been met." And she does, as proven by the fact that some of her buyers have bought the very first apartment she showed them.

A frequent lecturer on real estate topics at Marymount College, The Learning Annex and private gatherings and industry functions, Marie lives on the Upper East Side of Manhattan with her actor husband and two daughters who attended Nightingale-Bamford in Manhattan, and later Emory University in Atlanta and Wesleyan University in Connecticut.
