Originally from Vienna, Austria, he arrived knowing no one—just his guitar, life savings, and determination. Between 1998 and 2016, Theo released six full albums and accumulated over 1,000,000 Spotify downloads (though, like many artists, he never saw a dime, hence Real estate). During his years as a subway performer, he embraced the moniker “King of the Underground,” officially bestowed by American Songwriter magazine in 2006.
