Onur Buyukdegirmenci

With hundreds of gratified clients and successful transactions to his credit in over a decade, dynamic real estate professional and Associate Broker Onur Buyukdegirmenci has the know-how of an industry veteran and the energetic attitude of a trailblazing maverick. He was indoctrinated into real estate at a young age helping to manage his family’s properties and ultimately achieved an accomplished brokerage career in New York City. Now working alongside Associate Broker Donna Conti at the 575 Madison Avenue office, Onur and his partner serve a discerning clientele, specializing in the sale of luxury Manhattan properties. His empathetic and analytical approach is among the key reasons he excels at his craft and earns his clients’ loyalty and referrals.

Onur brings an international worldview that is integral to all he does. Having relocated to NYC himself at a young age, he knows how challenging it can be to settle in this vibrant city. Drawing on his hard-earned expertise and insights he educates his clients every step of the way to ensure that their real estate experience is as smooth and enjoyable as possible. Onur received a Bachelor's degree in Business Management in Istanbul and majored in Finance & Accounting. He started his professional career at Deloitte and during this time, helped clients from a wide range of industries including banking, energy, automotive, textile, and construction.

Yet his true passion was found in more creative pursuits, namely the culinary arts. After training under world-renowned chefs, Onur came to New York to attend the Culinary Institute of America at Hyde Park. He graduated with honors and worked at Michelin three-starred restaurants Jean Georges and Eleven Madison Park before applying his impeccable hospitality, creativity, and finance skills to the real estate industry, closing deals throughout Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Queens for more than a decade.

Professional and honest, with a deft ability to multitask under pressure, and an eye for excellence, Onur is also incredibly accessible and friendly. His calming demeanor and confident outlook make the city's often-confusing array of buildings, neighborhoods, and real estate rules seem easier to understand. “Buying and selling are some of the biggest emotional and financial decisions in one's life. Onur has enjoyed living in the Upper East Side, Gramercy Park and Financial District in Manhattan; Williamsburg in Brooklyn, and Long Island City in Queens. His interests are many and include traveling and learning about new cultures, cooking for his family and friends, home improvement and interior design.
