Matthew Barbaccia founded Exit Realty Private Client with John Colangelo in early 2015. Exit RPC was created to expand on over 30 years of combined real estate brokerage experience in NYC and Westchester County. Exit RPC is the first Exit Realty office in Westchester County, offering agents and associate brokers the opportunity to capitalize on Exit Realty's award winning proprietary technology and platform rewarding clients with unmatched marketing capabilities for their homes and investment properties.
Prior to starting Exit RPC, Matthew Barbaccia was brought on as a partner at RHAMCO, a prominent NY asset management firm. Under Matthew's leadership he oversaw all financial decisions and operations of the firms portfolio which expands to over 1,000 units throughout NYC and Westchester County. Matthew remains actively involved in the management and direction of RHAMCO's growth.
Matthew draws on his brokerage experience from his days at Marcus & Millichap and The Greenwich Group International. At Marcus & Millichap ,the nation's largest investment sales firm, Matthew was responsible for selling multi-family and mixed-use properties throughout NYC. At the Greenwich Group International, a real estate investment banking firm, Matthew focused on originating and structuring debt-equity investments over various commercial asset classes.
Throughout Matthew's brokerage career he has listed/sold over $150 million worth of investment properties. Matthew brings this knowledge and skill set in brokerage, team building, development, real estate finance, investments and management to Exit RPC. Matthew has the skills to train his agents as they expand their real estate knowledge and tap into often missed markets of the real estate industry.
Matthew is actively involved in the NYC real estate community. Currently, Matthew sits on the YMCA of Greater NY Development Committee and is a member of Community Housing Improvement Program (CHIP). Matthew graduated from the University of Arizona Eller College of Management and is in the process of obtaining his CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member) designation from the CCIM Institute and CPM (Certified Property Manager) designation from IREM.
In his spare time he enjoys traveling and surfing around the world. Matthew currently resides in Bronxville, NY with his wife and son.
