Born and raised in Brooklyn, Josh Carter comes from a family with deep roots in New York City real estate—his grandparents were developers who helped shape the borough’s landscape. Growing up surrounded by property, community, and neighborhood transformation, Josh has spent his entire life immersed in the unique energy and culture of NYC.

Beyond real estate, Josh is a passionate foodie, arts enthusiast, and an active participant in the city’s creative scene. From 2011 to 2024, he hosted Manhattan’s longest running weekly comedy showcase at Beauty Bar and continues to organize one-off events at his favorite NYC venues.
