Roxana Dorneanu

I feel that when it comes to selling real estate, it is very important to have personal experience with buying and owning property as well as professional experience selling it. The proud owner of my own landmarked townhouse since 1995, I learned so much about the entire real estate process in my own search, buying, owning and dealing with tenants, that I have made a commitment to share my knowledge with others. I've also been asked to serve on the board of directors of my cooperative on the Upper West Side.

With a philosophy and psychology degree from Hunter College, I developed acute listening skills early on. I enjoyed several successful years working in restaurant management and traveling extensively. I pursued a life-long interest in real estate and fascination with landmark architecture when choosing the field as a profession after having purchased my first property. I'm equally experienced in representing both, the purchasers in finding just the right property, and the sellers, marketing their property and negotiating on their behalf. After a tremendously successful year in The Corcoran Group's Brooklyn Heights office, I decided to join Corcoran's exciting new Soho office in 2000. I have since demonstrated exceptional sales capabilities and have been awarded "Broker of the Month" and have been chosen by my peers to represent them on the Advisory Board of the Corcoran Group in 2007.

Not a one dimensional woman, you can spot me running in Central Park (training for the occasional marathon), shopping at Fairway for my next dinner party or walking my Westie, Zola on the Upper West Side, where I reside. I also enjoy among other outdoor activities, sailing, biking, hiking, rock climbing and gardening at my weekend house in Northern Dutchess County.
