Originally from Northern Minnesota and of Greek descent, Andrew Jennings Freerks attended the University of Minnesota, where he attained a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture and Urban Studies and later a Master’s in Urban Planning. During his college career, he completed a ten year stint as a sergeant in the United States Army Reserve and was deployed to Northern Iraq from August 2005 - October 2006. Upon returning from overseas, he began working for real estate development support firms and locally worked as a real estate development consultant to the Bronx Borough President's Office. During his adventurous life he has lived in Hong Kong, the Middle East, Chicago and now resides in the Mott Haven section of the Bronx. Some interesting facts: Born and raised on a horse farm in rural Northern Minnesota. Drew graduated with an undergraduate degree in Architecture and has a Masters in Urban Planning. As of my last vacation, I have traveled to 51 countries on 6 continents and have lived in the Middle East, Hong Kong and in 5 states across the US. Served 10 years in the United States Army, with a 15 month deployment to Northern Iraq in 2005-2006.
