Robin Tygar

Client joy and satisfaction are Robin Tygar's main priorities in her real estate career. There is nothing better to her than seeing a smile on the faces of all those involved at the end of each transaction. Whether you are a buyer or seller, developer or investor, her wealth of market knowledge and personal real estate experience enable her to assess and tackle each situation with the unique approach it requires to yield positive results. A resident of Brooklyn since 2004, Robin specializes in Brownstone Brooklyn, specifically the neighborhoods of Windsor Terrace, Kensington, Greenwood Heights, Prospect Heights, Clinton Hill and Park Slope. She personally climbed the real estate ladder from renting in Prospect Heights, to then owning, renovating and selling her condo in Greenwood Heights, to finally buying, renovating and living in her current home in Windsor Terrace since 2013. Her own experience with what she calls "the good, the bad and the ugly of real estate" created her desire to help others on their paths. Robin has a network of resources consisting of contractors, attorneys, engineers, architects, mortgage brokers and other real estate professionals that she gladly shares with her clients to ensure a seamless, stress-free transaction before, during and after the deal has closed. She looks forward to not just being a resource during the real estate process, but a resource for whenever a need may arise. Prior to becoming a realtor, Robin lived throughout the country. Originally from Whippany, New Jersey, she resided in the Chicago area for college, then in Seattle and Los Angeles for a career in acting, and back to New York City where she embarked on a career in finance and business operations. It was at Cantor Fitzgerald that Robin realized she could combine her knowledge, skill set and love of people with her passion for real estate. Robin holds a Bachelor's degree from Northwestern University in Theatre, plus holds Series 7, Life and Property & Casualty insurance licenses. She is active in her daughter's school's PTA and hopes to get back to a practice of Bikram yoga!
