Michael Capobianco

Michael Capobianco came to New York City in the early 90’s prepared to dive into the world of real estate. He had grown up watching his grandfather develop property from scratch, from the planning stages to construction and eventually marketing and sales in the New Haven, CT and Vero Beach, FL areas. But a successful career as a Ford model and a working actor put that original ambition on hold.

He never stopped following the real estate market and personally experienced the various aspects of the buying and selling process in Nantucket, Miami Beach, Connecticut and Manhattan. Finally, after 25 years in the modeling and acting business, he decided it was time to return to his original love and become a broker.

Michael brings a personal touch, passion for NYC living, extensive knowledge of the history of the city’s buildings and neighborhoods and enthusiasm to every transaction. One recent client raved, “You have been a true professional - responsive and resourceful, and ever so delightful.” His passion for the city he loves is evident in his extensive collection of coffee table books about NYC architecture, history and buildings.

When not working, Michael enjoys strolling through his beloved Upper East Side neighborhood, where he has lived for over 30 years, accompanied by his Basset Hound, Lauren Bacall. Lauren Bacall the Basset Hound as she is known is often recognized as she has appeared in various TV shows and films. One of her and Michael’s favorites was working alongside Sarah Jessica Parker in the recent series, “And Just Like That.”
