Prior to joining Compass in 2016, Melissa worked with several high-profile non-profit organizations, where she specialized in public and media relations and also led broader advocacy and outreach initiatives.

In addition to her career in real estate, Melissa is an abstract painter whose pieces have appeared in charity auctions across the city. Informed by that work, her artist’s sense of space gives her a powerful perspective when matching clients with apartments.

Melissa owns a condo in Williamsburg with her husband Matt, and loves being immersed in the energy and culture of Brooklyn, where she has lived for 15 years.
