Dan Chen is Principal Broker at Daniel Chen LLC. He commenced his career as an award-winning, top-producing real estate professional (top 3% amongst 125,000+ agents at the largest firm in North America). In 2016, he joined Sotheby's International Realty, the market's preeminent firm, where he solidified his standing within the industry. In late 2023, Dan founded Daniel Chen LLC to enhance the service offerings for his private clients in the US and overseas, catering to their real estate needs.

Dan is a highly motivated, energetic, and innovative problem solver with a strong entrepreneurial spirit. His expertise centers on real estate sales and investments within the Greater New York City Area, with a specific focus on luxury condominium developments in Manhattan. Dan is a graduate of Regis High School on the Upper East Side and Brandeis University in Boston, where he attended as a Leonard Bernstein Scholar, earning a full merit scholarship for violin performance. His academic pursuits encompassed Political Science, International Relations, Music, and Theatre Arts. As a violinist, Dan has won numerous competitions and performed various venues across the U.S., Europe, and Asia, under the tutelage of a distinguished professor at The Juilliard School on the Upper West Side. He plays an Italian violin made in 1783 by Giuseppe Odoardi.

Beyond his musical endeavors, Dan has ventured into the realms of fashion and entrepreneurship. He has modeled for esteemed fashion, commercial, and magazine clients such as Zara, Banana Republic, Target, Kohl's, Macy's, Uniqlo, Asos, Nike, L'Officiel Paris, and Marie Claire China. Dan previously held the role of Chief Marketing Officer at CareTeam App, a mobile-friendly application providing clinicians and medical professionals at top hospitals with instant access to contacts, guidelines, and protocols. Additionally, he previously founded Domi Chinrest, a company specializing in innovative memory foam chin and shoulder rests for the violin and viola.

Professionally, Dan is fluent / business proficient in English, French, Korean, Spanish, Italian, and Mandarin (Chinese), with elementary proficiency in Russian.
